This is a picture of an Animal Testing Facility.
The reason they use rabbits for animal testing is because they are the only animal who can not flush chemicals out of their eyes without using aids like water or their paws.
Next time you buy cosmetics or hair spray or anything in the beauty section - choose the brands that are NOT tested on animals.
Here’s a hint: Loreal are the worlds biggest cosmetic animal testers, and Garnier isa sub-company of Loreal.
If you have trouble finding out who tests on animals and who doesn’t, google is at your fingertips.
The look on the bunnies face second from the right is absolutely heartbreaking.
(via mycah)Your beauty isn’t worth their pain.
This picture has made me well up, the bunnys face second to right is shocking. And people who say ‘its just the angle, animals don’t have feelings blahblahblah’, if you really believe that then your an idiot. They feel pain like any human, and that animal is scared.
Always choose companies that dont test, it really will make a difference.
Also be vareful with what you buy, just because of company is a high class/designer brand DOES NOT make it cruelty free.
Avon, Chanel, L’oreal, Estee Lauder and Even Yves Saint Lauren are all brands you should try and avoid due to either them or the ingredients in their make up are not cruelty free.
Look at brands in boots, MAC, Barry m, Smashbox, Bobbi Brown, Lush and Body Shop.
Also, all supermarkets such as Tescos, Waitrose, John Lewis, Aldi, Sainsburys, Marks and Spencers and Co-op own brand toilotries are all free of animal cruelty.
(Not asda though sadly, they sell other brands which are animal cruelty free just they’re own stuff isn’t)
If we can’t speak for them, who will?
Heartbreaking.
